One of our little friends had a birthday party at Pump It Up (a place with all giant, inflatable slides and bounce houses). It was a pajama party so the boys were thrilled to leave the house in pjs and they had an awesome time. The party ended at 11:15am and both were practically dozing off on the way home!
Love how they hold hands!
Sliding!
Hard to see but Derrick is wearing the boxing head protector...too funny to see him walk with it on!
Cupcake face!!!

This sums up this past week. The boys have been sick with Hand Foot Mouth. Basically, it is a virus that causes pimple-like blisters on the hands, feet and mouth. It is very common in toddlers and thankfully most of us adults were exposed as kids and so we have a natural immunity. Neither me nor Doug have had any signs of it. Derrick got it very mild and Dillon got it a little worse. Thankfully, after being housebound ALL WEEK LONG (torture with two energetic toddlers...yes, this didn't take their energy away!) we are finally on the uphill. We are taking it easy this weekend and hope to be able to leave the house next week.
He had a fever before the blisters showed up. I snuck in and enjoyed some extra cuddles!
And we woke up to this....thankfully, it doesnt seem to bother him. I am super thankful that he didnt get them on the inside of his mouth and throat because that is super painful!
Poor little monkey!
Still the same ol' antics around here despite everything!
