Let's get this show on the road....

Our bassinet all put (back) together and ready for little Mr. Dillon!!

We were putting the finishing touches on Dillon's room and Derrick needed to take a peek to approve the crib! I have a feeling this is how he will greet Dillon in the mornings...

 I came across some leftover PREEMIE diapers of Derricks. He wore Preemie size diapers when he came home because he was such a little peanut. Here they are next to his diapers he wears now, size 4!

No matter where I put our wreath box, Derrick pulls it out and plays with it. Tonight he got the biggest kick out of daddy closing it on him...he was laughing hysterically when he sat up and opened it!

 OOOPS...note to self, if and when steaming pacifiers to sanitize them...Don't forget about them in the pan. 

 Christmas is ALMOST here...

 Merry Christmas!!! These pictures kill me to post because it is admitting reality that my little man is becoming a little man and no longer a baby!! He looks like such a little toddler...and more and more like daddy everyday.

 So grown up!!

We did matching cousin pjs this year. By the time we went to take the picture the boys were over the whole picture thing so this was the best shot we got. The next picture in this pose was Derrick walking out of the picture..haha. It still is super cute though!

...because his nursery is complete!!! I will take credit for the idea of his room but I have to give a major shot out to my amazing husband who made it all happen and did ALL the work from the taping to painting to installing the chair rail and assembling the furniture....he is the best!!!  Here is a glimpse of the progression of completing Dillon's nursery...

I was getting stuff organized in Dillon's room and Derrick decided to take a break and relax in his old car seat!

 Derrick's clothes he has outgrown. All organized, labeled and packed up by size....ready for little Dillon!

My exciting purchase this week was the batter dispenser I FINALLY found at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. The one by us has been sold out for weeks but I finally found one! I love it!!

Derrick loves to count as we go down the stairs. We are working on numbers for now as he has his own order for them!! Eventually we will get the right order :-) (And a sidenote: I have no clue where 13 came from as we only practice up to 10)

Now that the boys put together Derrick's new stand, we had to put it to use. Derrick decided to help daddy with a craft that Nana sent home for Derrick.

Christmas came early for little Derrick from his Nana and Papa. They bought him this kitchen stand which is perfect!! Derrick loves to be up on the counter helping me do whatever I am up to but I always worry about him falling....so this will be great. Derrick loved helping Doug put it together and figuring out how to get in and out of it!
