CGC Waesche Commissioning

At the official commissioning for the CGC Waesche Doug got to participate by being the one who blew the bosun pipe. Thanks to a great friend (and fellow Coastie wife) I got to see the video of it since we weren't able to be there. Here you go....

This is how we roll...

...just laughing together all day long. Today, me and our little nugget made a quick run to Fresh & Easy for some necessities for dinner. While we were walking through the refrigerated aisle I started to say "Brrrr, it's cold." Derrick started to repeat me by saying, "Brrrr." So I grabbed my cell phone to video it and all of a sudden he started laughing hysterically every time I said Brrrr. I caught it on tape.I probably looked like a crazy lady walking through the whole store with Derrick hysterically laughing while I kept saying brrr...but so worth every giggle!! I can watch this video over and over...he makes me complete!!

My Eggo is Preggo!!

Surprise!!! We are expecting Baby #2. As of right now my due date is 1/1/11 but it is probably going to change in a few weeks when my doctor can do an ultrasound and get a more exact due date...although I would love for it to be 1/1!!!

Derrick and baby Pistachio will be 18 months apart....keep checking back for updates!!

Playing with Daddy

Doug and Derrick were playing this past weekend and Derrick got a kick out of daddy putting him in his toy basket. He kept laughing and smiling...until he decide to tumble out of the basket. He was totally fine and just smiled and got back up. Our little man is growing up way too fast!!!
